Central Tibet Self-driving Tour
Drive on the friendship highway from Nepal (Zhangmu) to Tibet, and drive back to the Nepal border via Mount Everest Basecamp. If there is time, you can hike from the highest monastery in the world, Rongbuk Monastery, to Everest Basecamp, a distance of 8km which takes 2hrs.

Day01 ARRIVE TO TIBET BORDER ZHANGMU / NYALAM
Drive to Zhangmu and stop for PSP permit,then contenue drive to Nyalam O/nt Nyalam Guesthouse
Day02 DRIVE TO TINGRI
Drive to Tingri where you will get wonderful view of Mount.Everest,Mount.Lhotse,Mount.Cho Oyu,
Day03 DRIVE TO RONGBUK MONASTERY
Drive to Rongbuk monastery or Everest Basecamp where you will feel that you just can touch the world's highest mountian.
Day04 DRIVE TO SHIGATSE
Early morning get the lovely pics of Mount Everest and ready to leave for next places which is located 340km by road.
Day05 DRIVE TO GYANTSE
Drive to Gyantse via Shalu monastery enroute 90km by road
Day06 DRIVE TO LHASA
Start early morning from Gyantse to Lhasa and cross the three high passes on the way and where you can see some defferent landscapes,Nature lake,Glacier and nomads.
Day07 SIGHTSEEING
AM:Drepung Monastery PM:Jokhang Temple
Day08 SIGHTSEEING
AM:Potala Palace PM:Sera Monastery
Day09 DRIVE TO LHASA
Drive to Lhatse which located middle of the way to border from Lhasa 420km
Day10 DRIVE TO NYALAM
Drive to Nyalam 330km
Day11 DRIVE TO ZHANGMU / FRIENDSHIP BRIDGE
Drive down to friendship bridge and it is the Tibetan last town on friendship highay.
